T5 Fluorescent Bulbs Replacement bulbs for Tek-Light and New Wave T5 Fixtures. Choose between cool or warm lamps for full spectrum effect. These high output lamps have an extremely high lumen per watt rating: 5000 lumens per lamp divided by 54 watts equal 92.59 lumens/watt. Cool Lamp The 6500 degree Kelvin cool lamp is blue-oriented in the spectrum. It is the best type of light to be used as a primary light source if no or little natural sunlight is available. This type of lamp promotes plant growth and is closer to a metal halide (MH) bulb. Warm Lamp The 3000 degree Kelvin warm lamps are red/orange in the spectrum. They are the best type of lamps for secondary or supplementary lighting used in conjunction with natural sunlight. This type of light promotes flowering/budding in plants.
