Tek Light T5 High Output Fluorescent L - 48" The next big thing in horticultural lighting! Use this fluorescent plant grow light for plant propagation or full term plant lighting. Fixtures are low profile, sleek and light to hang. Lamps have very low heat factor which allows the fixture to be hung very close to plant canopy, thus raising light levels. The TEK-LIGHT™’s exclusive 9-bend reflector is made of German 95% reflective aluminum. Light output is 300% higher in our reflector vs. a lamp with no reflector. Replacement lamps are extremely cost effective. All fixtures come with your choice of lamps. Solid state electronic ballasts (no copper windings) do not emit heat, noise or vibration. Unique design places ballasts outside lamps (instead of above lamps as in competitive fixtures) for longer fixture life. Backlit ON/OFF switch. Optional Tek-Light Adjustable Cable Hanging System This optional cable hanging system is perfect for securely hanging the Tek-Light. In addition, they allow the user to easily adjust the fixture up and down. The “pem” bolts of the cable hangers screw into “pem” nuts in the top of the TEK-LIGHT™ fixtures. The kit comes complete with 2 - 8 foot long stainless steel cables and all mounting hardware necessary to properly hang a TEK-LIGHT™ from a ceiling or other support structure.
