The Carbonaire filters can be refilled,
however it is not recommended. They are the least expensive in the
industry and are considered throw away fans. If you're looking for
a refillable filter that will last you a long time you would want
the Mountain Air Filter but this filter is more then twice the price.
On a side note refilling carbon filters is not fun; it is very messy
and difficult. Most people use them for a year or so and then get
a new one when they stop working. You can also partially reactivate
the carbon by spraying it with water and letting it dry out completely.
We personally like the CAN
filters they are made better then the eco-plus and have carbon
within, and are only slightly more expensive. These filters can be
refilled but are also considered throw away. |
